Ms. Schullo has more than 35 years’ experience in real estate development and management. She is also a licensed real estate managing broker and holds a Senior Real Estate Specialist designation (SRES). She directs property operations and the entire development process within the Alden network, including site acquisition, design, land entitlement, financing, construction, marketing and lease-up of new projects.

Mr. Schullo has more than 8 years of experience in pre-development and development phases of Alden facilities. He is also a licensed real estate broker in Illinois. His responsibilities include coordinating the land entitlement, financing aspects for new and existing projects. Prior to working at Alden, Mr. Schullo had 3 years’ experience as a Senior Financial Analyst. He graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in Business.

Linda is a highly experienced, successful, and well-regarded business leader in the world of multi-family management, having 15 years of experience under her belt. Originally from New York City, Linda started her career path as an attorney, in the field of securities litigation and corporate finance. She first embarked on her property management journey, working part-time over the weekends at a boutique luxury development on the Lower East Side. It is from there that Linda found her new passion in property management, holding various site and corporate executive level positions across various vertically and horizontally integrated Residential and Commercial Real Estate Development and Management Firms.
At Alden, Linda is responsible for the management and strategic direction of our mixed income, affordable Senior communities, and is responsible for overseeing the day-to- day operations, driving operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards across the Property Management, Maintenance, Finance and Compliance Departments. In addition to holding her Bachelor of Science in Communications and her Juris Doctorate, Linda holds a brokerage license in 4 different states as well as being a Certified Occupancy Specialist, Blended Occupancy Specialist and Tax Credit Specialist. Linda is mom to two beautiful children and during her spare time enjoys running local races, hiking, bouldering and finding a good scotch whisky.

Ms. Rios has been with Alden for 9 years and was the Property Manager for two of our independent communities, followed by becoming the Assistant Director of Property Management for multiple years and now operates as the Director of Property Management. Ms. Rios conducts marketing and leasing for all the Alden Foundation developments and oversees the property managers for the Foundation’s affordable independent living communities. Ms. Rios provides training and onboarding to new property managers, as well as following up on all compliance needs for IHDA and investors. She holds a broker’s license and TCS, COS, and HOS certifications. Prior to Alden, Ms. Rios worked for ATI Physical Therapy at the Hinsdale Orthopedics facility working very closely with all ages including seniors on getting them back to the level of function needed to live healthy independent lives. She enjoys being able to contribute to the growing need for senior communities and help our senior community get all the best housing and care Alden has to offer. She is a Great Dane lover and die-hard Chicago sports enthusiast.

With over 14 years of experience in Compliance and Property Management, Bobbie Pointdujour is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Director of Compliance at Alden Realty Services. Bobbie holds several certifications, including COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist), TCS (Tax Credit Specialist), CMM (Certified Manager of Maintenance), and CSFH (Certified Specialist in Fair Housing), underscoring a deep expertise in navigating complex regulatory frameworks.
Bobbie is known for a meticulous approach to compliance and a thorough understanding of industry standards. With a strong track record in developing and implementing robust compliance programs, conducting comprehensive audits, and leading cross-functional teams, Bobbie ensures organizational adherence to all relevant regulations.
In addition to professional accomplishments, Bobbie is committed to community service and personal growth. Having served two years as a member of AmeriCorps and currently an AmeriCorps alumni, Bobbie has demonstrated a dedication to public service and community development. Bobbie also serves on the board of directors for Outreach MBC, further contributing to community welfare. In her free time, she enjoys live music and has recently rekindled her passion for playing the trumpet, a hobby from her earlier years. Bobbie’s strategic vision and commitment to fostering a culture of integrity and accountability have been instrumental in driving operational excellence and maintaining high ethical standards within the organization.
Director of Maintenance

Mr. Passero started with Alden less than a year ago as the Director of Maintenance for all the Horizon properties. He works closely with our vendors, sets up contracts, prepares for, helps administer inspections, and oversees and personally assists our maintenance technicians. Although Jared is newer to the Alden family, he has years of experience learning the hands-on skills necessary to lead his maintenance crews to accomplish all tasks. Prior to Alden, he worked as a foreman at an excavation company and a fleet supervisor for a refuse collection company, so he is no stranger to a leadership role. He thoroughly enjoys the satisfaction of completing all tasks for his residents in the buildings and maintaining the Alden standard throughout all aspects of his job. Outside of work, Jared enjoys working on his truck and camping with his wife and 3 dogs.
